Garage door spring repair in White Rock.
Your local tech, ~15 minutes away.
East Beach to West Beach, Five Corners up to Uptown. Salt spray, hillside driveways, retiree-quiet streets. Your White Rock tech works in all of it.
Salt spray and stepped driveways. Two big spring killers in one small city.
White Rock sits right on Boundary Bay — Marine Drive homes get direct oceanfront salt spray, the most aggressive corrosion environment in the Lower Mainland after Tsawwassen. Cables and springs both age faster here than anywhere else, and galvanized hardware will not survive. We default to oil-tempered springs and recommend stainless cables for Marine Drive addresses.
The other White Rock signature: stepped foundations and hillside driveways. A lot of 1960s–80s view homes sit on stepped lots with steep concrete approaches. That means more cycling stress on the springs (homeowners cycle multiple times for parking) and harder loads on the opener. High-cycle springs and a quiet belt-drive opener are the right combination here.
White Rock skews retiree — quiet streets, single-occupant or empty-nest homes. Your tech respects that. No power tools at 7 a.m. unless you explicitly say it's fine. We work clean, we work quiet, we don't leave a pile of wire snippets on the driveway.
If you're in any of these, we're 12–18 minutes out.

My Marine Drive home — last springs only lasted 6 years. Normal?
For oceanfront with galvanized hardware, yes. We can do better with oil-tempered springs and stainless cables — typical life jumps to 10–14 years even with direct salt spray.
I have a tandem (one-behind-the-other) single-car garage. Special spring?
Standard 1¾" or 2" ID torsion. We carry the spec. White Rock has a lot of these in the original beach-cottage stock.
The driveway is too steep for the wrapped van. Will you still come?
Yes. Park on the street, walk the gear in. Quiet operation, no extension cords running across the road for long.
Will you do work early without making a racket?
Yes. White Rock's quiet — we get it. The actual spring work is mostly mechanical (winding, sliding) and the noisy part is brief. Tell us if 8 a.m. is too early for your block; we'll book later.
