One service. Local techs. Same family on the phone.
We're a small Lower Mainland crew that does one thing — replace broken residential garage door springs — and tries to do it better than the operations that drive in from downtown to bill you for the trip.
Sixteen cities. Local techs across all of them. The closest one comes to you.
Most garage door companies in Greater Vancouver work from one or two dispatch points and charge you (sometimes hidden in the quote) for the drive across the bridges. We don't. Our technicians live across Greater Vancouver, and every call goes to whoever is closest. A Fleetwood call goes to the tech a few minutes away in Surrey, not across the Port Mann. A Lynn Valley call goes to the tech already on the North Shore. The wrapped van is usually parked 12 to 18 minutes from you when you make the call.
That's the whole pitch. There's no proprietary software, no "service circle membership," no after-hours upcharge. The price you hear on the phone is the price on the invoice. The door doesn't lie. Neither do we.
Two leads. Two halves of the Lower Mainland.
Grew up on a Burnaby cul-de-sac with a dad who fixed everything in the garage instead of paying somebody — workbench his grandfather built, coffee can of mismatched bolts on the corner. Apprenticed at 19 with an overhead-door outfit in Surrey, ran his own truck by 26, joined our crew in 2018 when he got tired of chasing kitchen-reno clients who wanted custom oak panels on their double doors.
Drives a beat-up navy Toyota Tacoma. East Van bungalow, two kids, one geriatric Lab named Doug who rides shotgun on weekends. Takes Boundary Road instead of the Trans-Canada because his dad told him to thirty years ago and he never questioned it. Has opinions about which Lower Mainland city has the worst residential road paving (Surrey, by a wide margin).
Writes the East-side blog posts. Reads the way he talks to homeowners in driveways — short, direct, slightly amused at the situation, never at the person. "The door doesn't lie." "Leave it closed till we get there."
Three generations on Lulu Island. Grandfather worked on the boats. Father worked on the roofs. Madison works on the doors. Apprenticed locally, ran a Steveston-based crew for a decade before consolidating into our group in 2020. Knows the salt-air corrosion problem the way only someone who has replaced one customer's cables four times in eighteen years can.
Lives in East Richmond, drives a wrapped Ford Transit Connect, runs coastal-spec inventory — oil-tempered standard, stainless cables, sealed bearings on every high-cycle install. Knows exactly when to take the Massey Tunnel and when to swing round by the Alex Fraser — the Ladner and Tsawwassen calls are hers.
Writes the Richmond, Delta and White Rock blog posts. Voice runs warmer than Dale's — family-business cadence, generational anchors, water-and-fishing references. "The family answers the phone." "Coastal hardware for the river air."
We don't sell doors. We don't sell openers. We sell one thing.
If your door is rotting at the bottom panel, your seal is dry-rotted, or your opener gear is grinding — we'll tell you. We're not the right shop to fix those. We'll refer you to a tech we trust and step out.
What we do is replace residential torsion and extension springs, and the cables that work with them. Same-day. Flat-rate. Same price 7 a.m. or 9 p.m. Tuesday or Saturday. That's it.
It's a small surface area. That's the point.
The boring proof.

Want to work with us?
We refer overflow and out-of-scope jobs — installs, openers, loading docks, and skilled trades like hydraulics, electrical, welding and fabrication — to quality partners across Greater Vancouver. You quote it, do it, and bill it; we make the introduction.
If the spring's broken, call.
If you're researching for later, save the number.
