Garage door spring repair in Port Moody.
Your local tech, ~15 minutes away.
Heritage Mountain, Heritage Woods, Klahanie, Glenayre, Pleasantside. Your PoMo tech knows the mountain freeze-thaw and the salt off Burrard Inlet.
Two climates in one small city.
Port Moody has the shortest city footprint in the Tri-Cities and the most varied climate within it. Heritage Mountain and Heritage Woods sit at 250–400 m elevation — freeze-thaw country, executive homes from the 1990s–2000s with 25-year-old original springs that are mathematically done. Down on Pleasantside, Ioco, and along the Inlet shore, the issue is salt air off Burrard Inlet — same as North Van waterfront and Tsawwassen but in a milder dose.
Klahanie and Suter Brook are a different story. Townhouse and condo complexes dominate — shared garage doors managed by the strata. If your townhouse garage broke, your first call should be to your strata council, not us. We'll quote them directly if they ask, and there are batch-service savings when we do multiple units in one complex on the same day.
Glenayre is the throwback: 1960s ranchers on bigger lots with original tracks and 7-foot single-car doors. Most of those are 60+ years old and we replace the springs every few years on the same homes.
If you're in any of these, we're 14–18 minutes out.

I live in a Klahanie townhouse. Can you do my garage?
Only with strata authorization. The garage door on most townhouse complexes is a strata asset. We can quote your council directly and there's a batch discount if multiple units are due. Get us the strata contact.
Heritage Mountain freeze-thaw — high-cycle worth it?
Yes if you're staying. Mountain elevations + 25-year-old original springs is the most-common Heritage Mountain failure pattern. High-cycle 25,000 rating is more cold-tolerant.
I'm in a 1960s Glenayre rancher with an original 7-foot door. Still serviceable?
Yes. We carry the older 1¾" spring spec on the truck. Tracks may need adjustment — we do that in the same visit at no extra cost.
Salt air on the Inlet shore — does it really matter?
It speeds up cable corrosion noticeably. Springs less so. Two-spring tier includes cables free, which is what you want here.
